"We are extremely picky when it comes to selecting films. It took us six years to show a feature.  Your film
is the first feature that we felt was good enough to be shown on it's own."

"We've seen it before, from Straight Time to Carlito's Way, a man gets released from an institutional facility
after years of incarceration, he tries to go straight and do the right thing but ultimately he just can't help but
be seduced back into the game that got him there in the first place."

"What makes this experience special is how vivid and organic the performances are and how naturalistic
the narrative enfolds. It begs to mark itself as transcendent art-damaged white trash cinema. It's pure."

"Add Dylan Reynolds to your talented young filmmaker-to-watch list - a true diamond in the rough, a
filmmaker with an eye and great storytelling ability who does so much for so little in this little indie gem....... a
candidate for your next feature."

Burbank resident Dylan Reynolds has a sales agent for “Chain Link,” the film he wrote and directed and
screened this spring at the Method Fest film festival in Calabasas; (chainlinkthemovie.com/).

"Yet, the distribution of a film online can cut out the middle man of the sales agents and give the work
directly to the audience," Reynolds said.

Looking ahead to his next project, Reynolds, 28, recognizes that getting to the audience requires viral marketing
online and building an e-mail list of contacts.

“It doesn’t work to just hand out fliers,” Reynolds said.

Temecula resident makes film based on experiences in Southwest County

"The movie doesn't have the answers, it's just observation," he said.

His inspiration for the film was drawn from situations that made him consider how a seemingly good person
can end up in a desperate situation. He also thought of a friend he knew in Lake Elsinore who ended up in jail
after a traffic stop ---- not a bad person, just someone facing an unfortunate set of circumstances.
